The Paris Fashion Week is closed and immediately the women’s looks for Spring Summer 2019 will be created. The “animalier” trend immediately catches the eye: zebra stripes, spotted, leopard print. The inspiration is wild, distinguished by colors, patterns, accessories, a little mix and match. But let’s start with the colors. The tones range from green, reminiscent of forests and pristine nature to beige, which are combined with fluorescent variants, and that may explode into fringes or stripes. Since 1947, when Dior presented the collection with spotted coats, this animal tendency has never left us.
Even the hair cuts take up the fringes. The “bowl” cut will be the one that will take the upper hand especially as a black helmet. Black, therefore on the head, but bright red lipstick on the lips. The 2019 spring-summer make-up will be a little cat-eye, with almost acid shades, with citrus yellow-orange eyeshadows but never too exaggerated. And then the outfit. Mini dresses, full costumes and light long dress are paraded. The animalier trend presents itself on trenches and zebra-striped clothes matched with wild-inspired shopping bags. Futurist colors, trousers with maxi fringe parka and the return of the dungarees are not lacking. Denim returns to impose its presence with special inserts and cuts both in clothing and footwear. Infact, jeans boots dominate the scenes. The beautiful 2019 season will also have a strong sporting appeal. Even the sandals will have a slightly sporty meaning, but always elegant and suitable for all occasions. Some will even be super ultra-feminine, made of fabric, in pastel shades with “sculpture” heels and made with plexi. Some designers, then, edit the poetic image of the ballerina shoes in sandals full of swaddling bands, matching them with the famous black sneakers used in modern dance.
And last but not least, the bags in canvas tied with delicious textures. Next to the flat shoulder bags with patchwork, we find almost surprising real sports bags to be used perhaps for the weekend. The style that emerges from the catwalks is a bit post-western, with handbags to be held on the arm. The motif of the fringes is certainly not lacking and it is also strong in woven bags and accessories to complete a look at the edge of the wild.
